Kerse Lane, Falkirk

Kerse Lane was a contract won with Story Construction to blast and paint the railway bridge spanning Kerse Lane, Falkirk.

Kerse Lane is a busy main road in Falkirk so work was carried out in two phases to minimise traffic disruption. When the work was being carried out there was traffic management systems in place to ensure lane closures with traffic light systems.

Chevrons were painted on the faces to indicated a restricted height. For the steelwork on top and inner facing the mechanical preparation and painting was accessible from the track.
